DeAnne is an intuitive business developer, specializing in providing Savannah’s visitors with unforgettable memories.
As a lifelong Savannah resident, DeAnne has a natural ability to customize traveler experiences, rendering her the premier source for local visitor information. She manages a team of over 20 across two different entities which together provide a full menu of services to her local hospitality industry. In 1995 DeAnne began her entrepreneurial journey in event & destination management by joining her mother’s business.

Mary Ann is a trailblazer in Savannah’s hospitality industry.
She created a full-service destination management enterprise designed to assist meeting and event planners as they navigate her native city. Since forming Convention Consultants in 1978, Mary Ann has worked with countless organizations seeking Savannah as the backdrop for their event. Her company’s mission to provide event planning and itinerary building services is carried out with attentiveness and attention to detail. Incentive groups, tour organizers, convention visitors, independent travelers and businesses alike have experienced the exceptional services and true southern hospitality her company provides. Mary Ann is a respected businesswoman whose experience and knowledge is greatly valued by her peers. As a dedicated community advocate, she has served on many community and non-profit boards. Mary Ann is a recipient of The Herb & Franklin Traub Visionary Award given by the Savannah Hospitality Association for her work in making significant strides toward improving her community.
