For at least a day, you and your friends get to be “ladies who lunch” and the perfect spot for this is The Gryphon Tea Room. Gryphon's coveted position on Savannah's Madison Square invites you in with its 1926 Scottish Rite architectural profile and alluring café menu. The intimate elegance of the interior, where white-clothed tables, carved-mahogany bookcases, and original stained-glass panels convey warmth and graciousness, provides a front row seat to the iconic Bull Street. The Gryphon is owned and operated by Savannah College of Art and Design.

Unwind after a fun day at Moon River Brewery where you can enjoy a frosty mug of the best craft beer Savannah has to offer. Probably one of the best parts of any grown-up girls’ getaway is getting to relax, unwind and catch-up in person with your friends. You’ll share the best of memories, laugh and may even shed a tear or two as you realize that the days are long, but the years are short and collectively you’ve been through many of life’s ups and downs. There are several fun and funky places to sip a cocktail and share stories. A couple of our favorites are the Planter’s Tavern in the Olde Pink House, Churchills Rooftop Bar or the Moon River Brewery where you can enjoy a frosty mug of the best craft beer Savannah has to offer and sit in their beer garden. If you are looking for a beautiful sunset view from the rooftop of The Alida, Top Deck, Electric Moon, and Rocks on the Roof are all perfect spots (Insta-worthy for your empty nesters girls’ get-away) for capturing photos of your gang and the stunning panoramic view of Georgia’s first city.
