Once you’ve reached the bottom of your mule, head toward the river where you can choose from several waterfront views. As you head back toward the heart of the historic district and try to recall where you parked, be sure to stop by Churchill’s. This iconic british-inspired pub has a rooftop bar that is so tucked away you might just miss it. Slip into this secret hideaway that is home to delicious drinks like the Savannah Refresher, the Apple Cide-Car, and of course Churchill’s Bloody Mary topped with bacon, olives, and an English cucumber. This cozy deck overlooking Johnson Square gives off an exclusive vibe and is the perfect place to lay low.

Carry into the evening by catching the sunset at Sorry Charlie’s. The oldest continuously operating commercial building in Georgia, this tiki themed oyster bar is a Savannah staple. It uniquely offers the only elevated view of Ellis Square.

It is simply impossible to visit all of Savannah’s highrise bar options in one weekend.

End your night on a high at The Perry Lane Hotel. A few feet from Chippewa Square, it is host to the Peregrin Rooftop Lounge. With a unique cityscape view, vibrant murals and a backdrop of the Savannah Theatre and The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, this is a picture-perfect spot.

It is simply impossible to visit all of Savannah’s rooftop bar options in one weekend, so here are a few honorable mentions: the Perch at Local11ten, Top Deck, Rocks on the Roof, and The Drayton Hotel Rooftop. No matter where you go you are certain to discover new heights in the skyline of Savannah.
